山西男篮球员张宁更新社媒写道：“又是一年CBA选秀大会，三年了，依然想感谢山西帮我圆梦。no.8。”

张宁在2020年CBA选秀大会上以首轮第8顺位被山西队选中，张宁本赛季代表山西出战40场，场均拿下17.7分5.4篮板2.8助攻1.5抢断，投篮命中率48.5%，三分命中率37.3%，罚球命中率77.3%。
