2月8日，沙特足协正式向国际足联提交申请，希望主办2023年世俱杯。沙特足协今天官方宣布，2023年世俱杯将于2023年12月12日-22日在沙特进行。

根据世俱杯规则，本赛季沙特联赛冠军将获得一个世俱杯名额。
